Pennsylvania-based startup Green Cabbage, specializing in procurement intelligence, has raised $40 million in Series B funding to fuel international expansion, deepen savings delivery, expand spend cube development, and enhance the use of its secure platform across global markets. Sageview Capital led the series B round.
Green Cabbage will use the fresh funding to intensify its international expansion, refine its platform capabilities, and extend its reach across North America, Europe, and Asia. Through this injection of capital, Green Cabbage expects to generate stronger savings for clients and distribute advanced spend cubes throughout new regions.
“The trust we’ve earned from some of the world’s largest enterprises by delivering billions in savings across Technology, Third-Party Labor, Marketing, and Travel & Expense has validated our model. With Sageview’s support and global network, we’re expanding the depth of our spend categories and extending our solutions from large enterprises to mid-market organizations worldwide,” said Eric Cunningham, CEO and Founder of Green Cabbage.
Platform sophistication meets Spend Cube Innovation
Green Cabbage is solving a fundamental problem faced by large enterprises: the lack of visibility, accuracy, and intelligence in procurement data. Most organizations operate with fragmented spend information, inconsistent supplier terms, and weak negotiation leverage, leading to significant overspending and compliance risk.
Green Cabbage addresses these pain points through its proprietary procurement intelligence platform, which delivers governed, micro-SKU-level data combined with legal and commercial term insights. By unifying multiple spend categories such as indirect technology, marketing, and workforce management into one intelligent system, the platform helps procurement teams identify savings opportunities of 15–30 percent, benchmark supplier contracts, and negotiate more favorable terms.
Its unique approach blends analytics, legal intelligence, and training to empower enterprises to manage procurement proactively rather than reactively, turning a complex, manual process into a data-driven strategic function.
Strategic leadership and market positioning
Because the platform links granular data with commercial intelligence, clients gain clarity and control. With the Series B funding, Green Cabbage will expand its platform architecture and accelerate the deployment of enhanced spend cubes in emerging markets.
To support that promise, the firm invests heavily in data integrity, analytics, and legal and commercial expertise. As the company pursues international expansion, it will deepen regional insights to preserve savings performance in diverse markets.
Already present across three continents, the company stands positioned as a global procurement intelligence player. Meanwhile, the platform’s evolving sophistication strengthens Green Cabbage’s competitive edge in delivering spend cubes and actionable insights.
“We’ve been following Green Cabbage for over a year and are impressed with their vision, product momentum, and consistent execution. With annual growth of more than 100 percent and an exciting technology roadmap, it’s clear they are bringing unmatched innovation to procurement & finance,” said Jeff Klemens, Partner at Sageview Capital.
“The combination of strong customer ties across private equity, consulting, and global enterprises, plus an experienced and energized leadership team, positions Green Cabbage for long-term, sustainable success. We are excited to partner with Eric and the entire Green Cabbage team to support their growth journey,” added Jeff Klemens.
