Cloud-native emergency communications leader Carbyne’s new $100 million funding round marks a major advance in AI-driven 911 platforms, emergency response solutions, public safety agency modernization, mission-critical industries expansion, and international growth.

Carbyne closed $100 million from AT&T Ventures, Axon Enterprise, Cox Enterprises, and others to accelerate its cloud-native emergency communications strategy. Investors praised Carbyne’s triple-digit ARR growth, noting that the company’s AI-driven 911 platform integrates smoothly with modern call centers.

Moreover, these emergency response solutions attracted strategic backers who seek to modernize how public safety agencies handle critical calls. Consequently, Carbyne plans to enter new mission-critical industries such as healthcare and utilities. Additionally, the round fuels further international growth across North America, Latin America, and the EMEA region.

“This investment is a strong vote of confidence in Carbyne’s vision and execution,” said Amir Elichai, CEO and Founder of Carbyne. “Over the past year, we’ve demonstrated that our cloud-native approach and AI innovations can truly transform emergency communications, not only for 911 centers but also for broader markets in need of modern incident response solutions.”

Carbyne Advancing AI and Global Expansion

Furthermore, Carbyne will deepen its investment in cloud-native emergency communications R&D to refine assistive features. The company’s AI-driven 911 platform already offers real-time video, location analytics, and automated transcription. In turn, these emergency response solutions reduce dispatcher workloads and improve outcomes.

“As AI adoption accelerates in public safety, Carbyne is uniquely positioned to lead. By building AI into the core of our platform, we’re not just enhancing emergency response, we’re setting the standard for faster, smarter, and more reliable outcomes when every second counts,” said Alex Dizengof, Co-Founder and CTO of Carbyne.

Carbyne continues to onboard dozens of public safety agencies, delivering turnkey deployments in weeks. Similarly, it will adapt its tools for new mission-critical industries, ensuring they meet sector-specific requirements. Next, Carbyne will leverage this momentum to sustain its international growth trajectory.

“Every day, first responders and 911 operators face critical, split-second decisions,” said Axon Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development Henrik Kuhl. “Carbyne is transforming how emergency calls are managed, delivering real-time, AI-powered intelligence to those on the front lines of public safety.

Security and Compliance at the Core

Moreover, security underpins every layer of Carbyne’s cloud-native emergency communications offering. The firm certifies that its AI-driven 911 platform adheres to the highest cybersecurity and compliance standards. As a result, its emergency response solutions feature end-to-end encryption and role-based access controls.

These safeguards empower public safety agencies to share sensitive data with confidence. Furthermore, Carbyne will tailor compliance roadmaps for new mission-critical industries that demand rigorous data governance. Ultimately, this approach supports robust international growth while maintaining trust.

Finally, Carbyne will use its fresh capital to scale cloud-native emergency communications globally. The company’s teams will enhance the AI-driven 911 platform roadmap with advanced virtual agents and predictive analytics.

They will also expand the suite of emergency response solutions to cover mass-notification and critical-incident management. As a result, more public safety agencies can replace legacy systems with modern, cloud-native alternatives.

Moreover, Carbyne will pursue strategic partnerships in diverse mission-critical industries, from oil and gas to transportation. Together, these efforts will drive sustained international growth and set a new standard for emergency response.

“Investing in Carbyne and furthering our partnership supports GMR in continuing to improve that care — bringing cloud-native, data-rich technology to the front lines of emergency response for increased safety in the communities we serve,” said Edward “Ted” Van Horne, Chief Operating Officer, GMR.
