AI Agents Take Command as Dataminr Unveils Future of Real-Time Intelligence

Dataminr’s bold AI expansion follows a $100 million investment from Fortress Investment Group

Dataminr’s agentic AI roadmap, enhanced by cybersecurity, real-time decision-making, event detection, generative AI, and predictive intelligence, promises to reshape how organizations respond to threats, offering intelligent, autonomous agents that deliver live context and actionable insights.

Dataminr’s new agentic AI capability, Intel Agents, marks a breakthrough in real-time decision-making. These autonomous agents instantly analyze developing incidents, generate precise context, and feed enriched insights to users without human intervention. This eliminates the tedious need for manual research, particularly in cybersecurity scenarios where timing is critical.

Intel Agents are piloting within Dataminr Pulse for Cyber Risk, helping chief information security officers streamline threat detection and response. By automating the identification and synthesis of relevant data, these agents raise the bar in event detection and real-time decision-making.

ReGenAI and Intel Agents Power the Future

The launch builds on Dataminr’s ReGenAI, transforming live data into constantly updated event briefs. With Intel Agents, the platform adds an intelligent layer that autonomously enriches these briefs by referencing Dataminr’s 15-year event archive and analyzing real-time signals using its proprietary large language models.

“When Dataminr’s AI Platform detects the earliest indications of events, risks and threats, Intel Agents are tasked with autonomously determining the additional context that’s needed, where to look for it and how to best synthesize what they find into concise text,” said Chief AI Officer Alex Jaimes.

“The unique decision-making capabilities of Agentic AI, powered by Dataminr’s proprietary LLMs and AI Platform, enable new innovations that were never before possible,” added Jaimes.

This fusion of agentic AI, generative AI, and data synthesis accelerates cybersecurity teams’ ability to act swiftly and decisively. The system handles terabytes of information from text, video, sound, image, and sensor signals across 220+ countries and 150+ languages—turning noise into clarity.

Expanding Across Public and Private Frontiers

Soon, Intel Agents will extend into Dataminr’s broader product ecosystem, including First Alert for public sector entities and Pulse for corporate security. This move promises industry-wide improvements in event detection and real-time decision-making, particularly when personalized with Client-Tailored Context. This future upgrade incorporates unique organizational insights.

By 2026, Dataminr will roll out PreGenAI, a predictive intelligence feature that anticipates potential outcomes during unfolding situations. This forward-thinking capability will enable clients to prepare in advance rather than react after the fact—signaling a true leap for agentic AI and generative AI.

Backed by $100M and a Powerful Team

Dataminr’s bold AI expansion follows a $100 million investment from Fortress Investment Group. The funding fuels accelerated product development in agentic AI, supports the corporate enterprise line, and enables global expansion.

With Intel Agents already live and PreGenAI on the horizon, Dataminr sits at the intersection of agentic AI, cybersecurity, and predictive intelligence. The firm’s innovations unlock smarter real-time decision-making by enabling machines to reason, predict, and guide action as events unfold.

In today’s volatile digital world, this shift from reactive tools to proactive agents may define the next era of event detection and risk response. Dataminr’s roadmap does not just update a platform—it reimagines the future of AI-powered situational awareness.
