Atlanta-based EnviroSpark Energy Solutions, a prominent electric vehicle (EV) charging market player, has secured a $50 million investment from Basalt Infrastructure Partners LLP. This investment will boost EnviroSpark’s journey toward revolutionizing the EV charging landscape in North America, particularly the United States.

The company, founded by Aaron and Stephanie Luque in 2014, has swiftly established itself as a leader in turnkey EV charging solutions, boasting over 8,200 charging plugs across the continent. The $50 million infusion from Basalt Infrastructure Partners LLP is set to propel EnviroSpark’s expansion initiatives across the US.

With a focus on enhancing the accessibility and sustainability of EV infrastructure, the company plans to utilize the funds to expand its owned and operated network, drive technological innovations, and further solidify its position as a contributor to the growing electric mobility sector.

“Securing this substantial funding milestone marks a pivotal moment for EnviroSpark. With strategic support from Basalt, we are poised to accelerate our mission of fostering sustainable transportation solutions. This investment fuels our expansion efforts and reinforces our commitment to making electric mobility accessible and convenient for all,” said Aaron Luque, co-founder and CEO of the company.

Strategic Partnerships Drive Growth

EnviroSpark’s strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as RaceTrac, Waffle House, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Ford Dealerships, HHHunt, and Asset Living have been instrumental in its rapid growth. These partnerships and longstanding collaborations with Tesla, Volkswagen, Volta, and Starwood Capital Group showcase EnviroSpark’s commitment to fostering widespread EV adoption across commercial and government sectors.

“As part of our strategy to invest in compelling scale-up opportunities in low carbon infrastructure, Basalt is partnering with EnviroSpark to help drive their next phase of growth in delivering long-term sustainable EV charging solutions to customers across North America,” said Andrew Marsden, Basalt’s Head of Energy Transition.

EnviroSpark’s mission extends beyond infrastructure development to promoting awareness and sustainability in the EV domain. The company’s dedication to eco-friendly transportation solutions is evident in its innovative technologies and customer-centric approach, making EV charging more accessible and convenient for property owners and drivers.

EnviroSpark Energy Solutions’ latest $50 million investment underscores its commitment to driving positive change in the EV charging industry. With a focus on expansion, innovation, and sustainability, EnviroSpark is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of electric mobility across North America.
