GroundGame.Health, a Tampa-based company merged with SameSky Health and raised $17 million in a funding round led by 7wireVentures to provide a social impact solution that addresses unmet social and care needs. GroundGame.Health plans to use the funds to expand its reach and impact more lives.
GroundGame.Health has developed an innovative model that connects managed care organizations (MCOs), community-based organizations (CBOs), and members. The company delivers last-mile services that provide people with the help they need most. These services include delivering meals to homes, meeting health-related social needs, providing health resources, and addressing underlying challenges such as health literacy.

Impressive Impact and Sustainable Funding
To date, GroundGame.Health has fulfilled over 180,000 social impact needs. The company has also facilitated over $26 million flow from MCOs to CBOs. This provides ongoing, sustainable funding for local organizations best positioned to meet the needs of their communities.
The startup recently merged with SameSky Health, a cultural experience company that builds trust and engagement with members. The merger will enhance GroundGame. Health’s ability to scale its reach, efficiency, and impact. SameSky Health has engaged over 2.8 million members, and the combined company now has coverage spanning all 50 U.S. states.
